Towson Sports Medicine will once again be offering Sports Pre-participation Physicals for area high school athletes. All athletes are required to submit a health history form before their physical can be scheduled. For your convenience you can obtain the health history form by visiting our website at towsonsportsmedicine.com and click on pre-participation physicals.

The physicals will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, July 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. **Health forms due July 24.

Thursday, August 09 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. **Health forms due August 02.

The health history form must be either sent to or dropped off at the Towson Sports Medicine office prior to the day of physicals.

Mark your calendars - Sunday, September 9, 2001 is the date Avon Running is coming to Baltimore.

The Women's Sports Medicine Center at Orthopaedic Associates is proud to have been selected to be apart of this major event to be held at the Inner Harbor's Rash Field.

The Avon Running Global Women's Circuit is an international series of women-only walks and runs. It is comprised of a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk and health and fitness clinics. The 5K race/walk will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The event will also feature a Kids Fitness Run at 10:00 a.m. presented by The Women's Sports Medicine Center at Orthopaedic Associates. Dr. Teri McCambridge, Director, and her staff have been selected to provide race-day sports medicine coverage. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have regarding fitness, conditioning, injury treatment and prevention.

Events are open to women of all ages and fitness levels.
