OA Physicians Speak at International Spine Meeting

Research conducted by specialists at Orthopaedic Associates' Scoliosis and Spine Center was featured at one of the top spine meetings in the world, the International Meeting on Advanced Spine Techniques, held in Barcelona, Spain.

The Scoliosis and Spine Center has one of the most active spine research programs in the United States. Highlights of the Scoliosis and Center research presented at the meeting concerned disk replacement procedures, spinal fusion techniques and bone graft substitutes.

Drs. Paul McAfee, Ira Fedder and John Sefter at the Scoliosis and Spine Center are involved in many aspects of developing new technologies and procedures in the treatment of spinal disorders. Bryan Cunningham, MSc., an internationally respected scientist, directs the Orthopaedic Associates Research Foundation's spinal research efforts.
